That's what George feels about design

 

George was born and raised in Athens, Greece. He studied Industrial Engineering at the Technical University of Crete and he obtained an MSc in Management studies from the Brunel University of London.

In 2001, he relocates at North East Lincs of England where he works as Industrial Engineer for a consulting Institute. During his staying in the U.K. he spends time on traveling worldwide from the USA to Asia, Europe and Australia.

This is how George is getting his inspiration for conceiving stories and then developing designs. 

 

In 2006, he establishes his own technical firm 'Metaplasis Building Renovation', www.metaplasis.gr, which is operating till present at renovation contracts, the design of spaces and special constructions.

Meantime, he develops the design of an innovative kitchen furniture system and in 2011 he co-founds the company 'Cassandra Cucine', www.cassandracucine.com that manufactures this design.

The brand has gained rapidly international awareness and the kitchen is presented at DUBAI in 2012. Following the publicity, the kitchen is awarded as “The Kitchen of the Year 2013” for design and innovation at the AMBIENTE Fair in FRANKFURT.

In 2014, the kitchen is presented at Salone del Mobile in Milan and currently the brand grows by launching his second innovative design, the model 'IDOLA'.

 

George also designs living furniture for furniture manufacturers with an international presence as exhibitor at Salone del Mobile, Milan and at May Design Series in London.
